Are you tearing your hair out, wishing that the Albany Unified School District would provide better paraeducator support to your students in remote learning?
We wrote to you last week asking for your ideas on how AUSD could/should be deploying paraeducators to help students remotely. Since then, we have developed a fairly robust list of ways this could be done. It is still a work in progress.
Click here to view the list.
You may find the list helpful as you negotiate with your student’s case managers and teachers. We are sharing our suggestions with the school district and hope that you will share the list with other parents.
We would still love to hear from you if you can think of other ways paras can work with students in remote learning. You can always contact us, about this or any other IEP/504 Plan/Special Education issue, at albanydisabilitysquad@gmail.com.
