Isa is a junior at Mills College. She lives in Albany, has cerebral palsy and graduated from Albany High School. She wrote her first novella, Following Seas, at the age of 14, which we highlighted in our Disability Lit column in October. She will read from her upcoming book, Kaia, which is about a fictional character with the same disabilities as her own. She’ll share some of her experiences in K-12 Special Education and be available for Q&A. Appropriate for both parents and students. We hope you and your kids will join us for our first event of this type.
