Rally for AUSD Students with Disabilities

For years now, AUSD’s Administration and Board of Education have neglected its own Special Education Department with dire consequences for AUSD students with disabilities. While this neglect predates school closures under shelter-in-place, the pandemic has exacerbated these issues and shed a light on the District’s default policy of defunding Special Education programs first and supporting AUSD students with disabilities last. AUSD’s approach to Special Education is in dire need of systemic change.

So, join the rally and STAND UP to the Albany Unified School District Board of Education & Administration. SPEAK UP for AUSD students with disabilities and their families. Raise your voices to be heard! Be LOUD and be PROUD! Make yourselves be seen! Make your presence felt!
